RESOLUTION 1.1

Topic Area A: The assumption of measures by governments globally to ensure environmental sustainability.

Submitted by: Ethiopia, Germany, Russian Federation, Afghanistan, Egypt, South Africa, Vietnam, Tunisia, Denmark, Finland, Cuba, Luxembourg, Bolivia, Argentina, Iran, Sweden, Uruguay, Poland, Israel, Italy.

A. Aware of the fact that the world is through an environmental crisis, the majority of the nations should be concerned about keeping the environment clean and enhancing the sustainability of the nature. As a result all the countries try to cooperate with each other and find the best solution for the world,

B. Recalling the decision of Kyoto and Montreal protocols,

C. Deeply concerned about the climate changes and all kinds of environmental pollution,

D. Endorses states to take part in like the operation expedition activities in many other NGO’s,

1) Trying to stop the use of chemicals globally which affect all the environmental fields;

2) Forms several environmental initiatives nationally to:

a. Reduce deforestation and trying to increase the action of forestation;

b. Minimize air and water pollution by using recycling sources of energy livelihoods of forest-dependent people;

3) Recycling measures that facilities the ecosystem’s sustainability;

4)Decrease the number of species threatened with extinctions by supporting non-governmental organizations like Greenpeace and NWWF and U.N.E.P. ;

Finally we declare that we are against America’s action non to participate in the Kyoto protocol.
